⏱ This is a 2.4-mile (3.8-kilometer) there-and-back trail that begins and ends at the same trailhead. Turn around at the falls or climb the switchbacks 500 feet (152 m) to an overlook of the Upper Geyser Basin, then loop back to the main trail. This adds an additional 1.5 miles (2.4 km).
